This "Totally Stable" stabilizer / backing is a 2.5 oz. soft medium weight cut-away backing. It is best used on designs with 10,000 to 18,000 stitches, also on denim, heavy knits, golf shirts, fleece, sweaters and t-shirts. This is a wet-laid backing which is best for embroidery because it doesn't stretch in any direction. Cut-away backings add the most stability and help control material stretch.

Tip ~ to make sure that the 8" x 8" pre-cut squares will work for your projects, measure a piece of stabilizer that you are currently using [or cut a piece of your current stabilizer to the smallest size that will still work, measure it, then select a size that is at least that big].
