Our Tearaway 15" x 15" Pre-Cut peices are a 1.8 oz. heavy weight tear-away backing that tears easily and cleanly. It is best used on heavy denim, canvas, caps, corduroy, cotton twill, hats, leather, lingerie, sheets, sweatshirts, t-shirts, towels and robes. Tear-away backings should be used on woven materials that have little stretch and don't need much stabilization, and in situations where the reverse side of the embroidery can be seen (towels, sheets...etc.).  This tearaway is a wet-laid backing, which is best for embroidery because it doesn't stretch in any direction.

Tip ~ to make sure that the 15" x 15" pre-cut squares will work for your projects, measure a piece of stabilizer that you are currently using [or cut a piece of your current stabilizer to the smallest size that will still work, measure it, then select a size that is at least that big].

Note ~ because of the size, the shipping is a little more expensive than most of our items.
